Chunk 31.1
In this chunk, the assistant deployed the budget-integrated pinned memory pool binary to the RTX 5090 test instance and confirmed a clean start with the new “budget-integrated, no cap” pool and zero active work. A SnapDeals proof was submitted to exercise the full pipeline, and the assistant closely monitored the system as it ramped up under load. As proofs progressed, every aspect of the design was validated in production: the pinned pool grew organically to 181 GiB while the budget accurately tracked it; the early a/b/c budget release mechanism fired 29 times to free partition reservations; buffer reuse became dominant (73 reuses vs. 65 new allocations); and budget-full events provided natural backpressure without crashes. After 6.5 minutes, 5 proofs completed with zero failures at a rate of ~46 proofs/hour, with system memory (280 GiB RSS) comfortably within the host’s 755 GiB limit. The assistant concluded the deployment was fully successful, confirming that the core design goal—eliminating arbitrary caps and letting the memory budget naturally govern pool growth—was realized and stable in production. The project todo list was updated to mark the unit tests, UI enhancements, and deployment tasks as completed.
